At least 8.8 million people are expected to be in need of humanitarian assistance in 2023 – a 17% increase compared to 2022.

Between October–December 2022, over 630,000 people faced Crisis food insecurity levels or worse across the country. The figure is expected to exceed 1,240,000 in June–August 2023...

 Pakistan


Around 5 million people are still exposed to or living near flooded areas, after floods were caused by an unprecedented level of monsoon rains in 2022.

South Sudan health authorities declared a second national measles outbreak on 10 December 2022, following the February declaration.
