Seeking Input for our Sub-Opportunities Portal
USAID will soon be launching a sub-opportunities portal on WorkwithUSAID.org. It will provide a searchable platform for sub-award and sub-contract opportunities being offered by current USAID prime partners, increasing the visibility of these opportunities to all, including new, nontraditional, and local organizations. But, we need your help! We want to populate the new page with opportunities before its launch, so we are asking current primes to share any upcoming sub-award/sub-contract opportunities via this submission form by February 27, 2023. Questions? Email the team at: IndustryLiaison@usaid.gov

Changes in SAM.gov for CAGE and NCAGE Codes
To make registering in SAM.gov easier, the federal government has reduced the number of new entities that need a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) or NCAGE code. This change only applies to new financial assistance registrants. If you are registered in SAM.gov and already have a CAGE code or NCAGE code, this change does not apply to you. Learn more about the criteria in GSA's announcement here.

Seeking Comments on OMB Guidance for Grants and Agreements – Build America, Buy America Act
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is proposing to revise OMB Guidance for Grants and Agreements. The proposed revisions are limited in scope to support implementation of the Build America, Buy America Act provisions of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act; and to clarify existing requirements. These proposed revisions provide further guidance on implementing these statutory requirements, and improve federal financial assistance management and transparency. Comments are due from the public on this site by March 13, 2023.

Past Performance for New Partners

Past Performance for New Partners

New partners can sometimes feel that the past performance section required in USAID proposals is a sort of Catch-22: if a partner is new, how can they have past performance to show the Agency? In this article, we will describe some ways that new partners can approach the past performance section of their proposals to make a strong case to USAID about their expertise and capabilities.
