Please join the CSIS Human Rights Initiative for a discussion on the new International Labour Organization (ILO), International Organization for Migration (IOM) and Walk Free Global Estimates of Modern Slavery report. The report, released every 4-5 years, delves into the global manifestation of modern slavery, looks at how the situation has evolved, and what remains to be done, if we are to meet our collective goal to end forced labor, modern slavery, and human trafficking by 2030, and to end forced child labor by 2025. This panel discussion will be moderated by Marti Flacks (Director of the CSIS Human Rights Initiative) and will feature the lead researcher for this report, Michaelle De Cock (Head of the Research and Evaluation Unit at the ILO), as well as John Leonard (Deputy Executive Assistant Commissioner for Trade, U.S. Customs and Border Protection) and Marica Eugenio (Director of the Office of Child Labor, Forced Labor, and Human Trafficking, U.S. Department of Labor).
